Dr Damien Loh FRACS

Dr Damien Loh is an upper gastrointestinal and bariatric surgeon at The Alfred, and is an Adjunct Lecturer in Surgery in the Monash University Department of Surgery. He graduated from the University of Melbourne and has been a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons since 2012. His major clinical interests are in weight loss surgery, reflux oesophagitis and cancers of the stomach and oesophagus. His main research interests are in metabolic and functional outcomes of bariatric surgery. Damien also has a keen interest in clinical governance and surgical education. He is the Chair of the Victorian Regional Committee (RACS) and the Deputy Co-Chair of the Vic/Tas Training Committee (RACS, GSA).
