Dr Korana Musicki FRACS

Consultant Vascular Surgeon - The Alfred & Royal Melbourne Hospital

Dr Korana Musicki completed a Bachelor in Medical Science and a Bachelor in Medicine/ Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Sydney, attaining through both degrees various accolades including the University Medal, Class I Honours and a Full Fee Scholarship. Her Vascular Surgery training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons took her to major hospitals along the east coast of Australia, in Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney and Melbourne, as well as Oxford UK. 

Dr Musicki currently holds dual appointments at both of Victoria’s level 1 trauma centres and quaternary referral centres for complex vascular and aortic work, The Alfred and Royal Melbourne Hospital, the latter of which is co-located with the Children’s, Women’s and Cancer hospitals, making for a diversity in vascular surgery repertoire. She has been involved with medical student teaching and supervision through the University of Melbourne, registrar lectures and tutorials at both teaching hospitals, and is the supervisor of training for Vascular Surgery trainees at the latter hospital. She is the director of the vascular lab at the former hospital, has been a member of faculty for a number of courses including advanced trauma exposures, as well as working groups with RACS and the Australia and New Zealand Society for Vascular Surgery. She has published book chapters and articles in peer-reviewed journals, and presented at local and international conferences
